2011 ICC WORLD CUP POOL

Terms & Conditions

(1) IMPORTANT DATES:

Feb 18 – deadline to submit your entry

Feb. 26 – deadline to submit your fee.

We reserve the right to close the pool at anytime before the deadline.

(2) PRIZES

Prizes are awarded as follows:

(a) Most points after the first round – 50% of the pool

(b) Winner of the world cup – 50% of the pool

(3) TIED WINNERS

(a) If 2 or more entries are tied for a prize in 2(a) or 2(b) above then that prize is divided equally among the winning entries.

(4) NO WINNERS

If there are no winning entries with the winning team [2(b) above], the 50% prize is added to the prize for 2(a). Therefore 100% of the prize is awarded to the entry with the most points after the first round.

(5) DEADLINE TO VERIFY YOUR ENTRY (for errors)

All entries will be updated at www.horizoncricketclub.com. You are allowed until March 02, 2011 to contact us with any errors (typos., etc). We are not responsible for any errors, regardless if it is our fault or not.

(6) DEADLINE TO VERIFY WINNERS (for errors)

Final results and winners will be posted at www.horizoncricketclub.com. You are allowed until April 12 to contact us with any corrections. After April 12, winners will be paid. We are not responsible for any errors, regardless if it is our fault or not.

(7) WEBSITE UNAVAILABLE

Should our website be unavailable (due to technical difficulties, etc). Participants may be notified by email (if their email address is on file). We are not responsible for miss-notification, no notification or otherwise. It is the participant’s responsibility to contact us, within the deadlines set out in (5) and (6) above, to verify their entry or to verify the winners.

(8) NSF PAYMENTS FOR YOUR ENTRY FEE

NSF charges will apply. Any NSF charges are payable immediately and are considered due on February 26, 2011. By participating in this pool, you agree to have your name published on our website for default of payment.

(9) DISTRIBUTION OF WINNINGS

Any prize over $10 can be sent to the winner by mail. If you are notified to pick up your prizes, you will be allowed 14 days to do so, after which your prizes are deemed to be received by you.

(10) WITHDRAWALOF ENTRY & REFUND

Participants can withdraw their entry at any time. However, there is absolutely no refund of your entry fee.

(11) SITUATIONS NOT COVERED BY THE RULES

In situations not covered by the rules, The Horizon ICC World Cup Pool co-ordinators shall make a decision without consultation. That decision shall be considered to be a final decision.

(12) CONDITIONS & WAIVER

By participating in this pool, you agree to abide by the rules of the pool and to have your name/pictures/scores/ used for promotional/rating/marketing purposes and to receive promotional materials from the pool and sponsors and organizers. You also agree to have your name, pictures, scores and other materials published on the club's websites and that you shall receive no compensation or payment of any kind for same. These items remain the property of Horizon Cricket Club. That Horizon Cricket Club, the pool organizers, sponsors, and judges will not be liable for any injuries received as a result of playing or participating in this event and for any loss or damage to equipment or other properties and for any costs, damages, losses or liabilities incurred and you agree that you will make no claims or bring no actions, suits or proceedings against Horizon Cricket Club, the sponsors, the pool organizers, scorers or judges.
